Uptown Cheapskate empowers individuals to express themselves using popular brand name fashions and modern style without the typical price tag. The concept is simple: we buy and sell your favorite brands at prices that everyone can get excited about.

Uptown Cheapskate is where teens and young adults get like-new name brand clothing at a fraction of the original price. By focusing on upscale fixtures, trendy design, and teen friendly ambiance, we create an environment that makes customers excited to embrace their cheaper side without sacrificing their stylish reputations.

Anything that's stylish that you might see at the mall is something we want to take a look at. We offer a way to clean out your closet and cash in on those items.

Unlike consignment stores, where payment is contingent on the sale of the item, Uptown Cheapskate pays cash upfront for the items it takes. Sellers usually receive between 30 and 40 percent of the resale price and those who choose to take their payment in store credit get an additional 25 percent. Resale prices are determined by a computer program that grades each item based on style and brand.

Every franchise owner receives a compresensive training program in our Salt Lake training facility. During your time with us, we prepare you to meet the challenges of business ownership. You will receive extensive, hands-on training in how to identify and buy fashionable clothing, merchandise them, attrach and retain customers and employees, and track your money. We offer ongoing support after you leave our training facility.
